PalUp Platform Guidelines

PalUp offers a platform that allows you to interact with personalized AI Assistants via voice, text and multimedia. To provide a safe and healthy experience for our users, we have a few guidelines that we want to make sure you understand so that you and others have a safe and comfortable experience using PalUp.  

Our platform guidelines below apply to your use of PalUp services, including our website (https://palup.ai/), mobile app, subscription plans, and any other features we offer. By using PalUp, you agree to follow our platform guideline and accept our Terms of Service, along with any updates we make along the way.

Please take these guidelines seriously. Breaking them may result in permanent account suspension, removal of your AI Assistant and content, suspend your monetization, or even a report to law enforcement if there’s a real risk of harm or a threat to public safety. 

All users must comply with applicable laws and regulations and PalUp terms, guidelines, rules and policies at all times. If a PalUp user’s or creator’s behavior—on or off the platform—harms our users, community, employees, or ecosystem, we may take action based on factors like the severity of their actions or a pattern of harmful behavior. In order to allow all users to freely and safely participate in the PalUp platform, we may, at our sole discretion, remove any content that violates our platform guidelines. For user accounts involved in repeated violations, we may, at our sole discretion, based on assessment of objective factors such as the intent of the violation, the incident of the violation, and the subject of the violation, restrict your AI Assistant’s traffic, restrict your functions within the platform, restrict your communicating abilities, restrict your account access, and even full account termination. For user accounts involved in serious violations, we may delete and ban them permanently. When necessary, we will report violations to relevant legal authorities and cooperate in investigations to ensure community safety.

Prohibited Types of Activities and Content on PalUp

To maintain a healthy and safe platform, PalUp prohibits content and behavior that includes, but is not limited to, listed below. This is not an exhaustive list. 

1. Spam, Deceptive Practices, Misleading Information 

PalUp doesn’t allow spam, scams, misleading information or any deceptive practices that take advantage of our platform, users, community, employees, or ecosystem. AI Assistants designed to mislead users or drive them away from PalUp aren't permitted. If you come across anything that violates these guidelines, please report it. 

You shall not personally or create AI Assistants to: 

• Engage in Scams or Fraudulent Activities – Your AI Assistant should not be fed content promoting schemes like get-rich-quick, pyramid schemes, or other forms of fraud.
• Disseminate Unauthorized Third-Party Content – Make sure your AI Assistant is not created with unauthorized third-party content that could lead to copyright violations or platform abuse.
• Use Misleading Images or Photos – Avoid creating an AI Assistant with the appearance of using images or photos of popular celebrities or other figures that have no connection to the content.
• Post malicious giveaways, spam advertisements, or spreading malicious marketing promotion content. 
• Inciting fear, hatred, prejudice, misinformation, and false statements.
• Display, create, or generate unauthorized links, QR codes, or other third-party content that attract users or lead to:
  • Pornographic material
  • Websites or apps that install malware or unwanted software
  • Websites or apps phishing for login credentials, financial details, or other sensitive user information
  • Websites, apps, or other sources that provide unauthorized access to paid audio, video, software, video games, or streaming services
  • Websites seeking to raise funds or recruit for terrorist organizations
  • Sites containing child sexual abuse imagery (CSAI)
  • Sites selling items restricted under our regulated goods guidelines
  • Content that violates our hate or harassment policies
  • Content encouraging violent acts
  • Websites or apps that spread misleading or deceptive content with a serious risk of egregious harm, such as interfering with democratic processes
  • External sites hosting manifestos of violent attackers

2. Illegal Activities and Restricted Items

You shall not share or create AI Assistants to generate content involving:

• Drugs or controlled substances such as alcohol or tobacco
• Purchase, sale, or exchange of illegally obtained drugs, dangerous chemical substances, and controlled medications
• Firearms, firearm accessories, ammunition, or explosives
• Provision, sale, exchange, or solicitation of firearms, accessories, ammunition, explosives, or information about the manufacture of weapons
• Gambling, or suspicious gambling content or behaviour, gambling groups, or locations of gambling, including but not limited to slot machines and baccarat

3. Violent or Dangerous Content

All PalUp AI Assistants are designed to avoid hate speech, predatory behavior, graphic violence, malicious attacks, and content that promotes harm or danger. You should not provide your AI Assistant with knowledge sources related to these topics or attempt to manipulate the AI Assistant in ways that violate these principles. 

You shall not share or create AI Assistants to generate contents involving:

• Harmful or Dangerous Acts, Challenges, and Pranks
  • Extremely dangerous challenges that pose an imminent risk of physical injury
  • Dangerous or threatening pranks that create serious emotional distress in minors or lead victims to fear imminent physical danger.
  • Harmful or dangerous acts performed by adults that carry a high risk of serious harm or death
  • The content of minors participating in dangerous activities endangers the emotional or physical well-being of minors
• Violence and Uncomfortable Acts
  • Acts of intention to commit highly violent acts
  • Acts showing incitement to violence
  • Description of violent or accidental death of a real person
  • Physical violence or description of physical violence
  • Dismembered or burned human or animal remains
  • Gory content focusing on open wounds or injuries
  • Animal cruelty, such as abusing or slaughtering real animals
• Weapons Content
  • Instructions to harm others and guides on how to injure or kill
  • Instructions on making devices or substances meant to cause harm
  • Firearms
• Digital Security Content
  • Content explicitly teaching how to steal physical goods or obtain items for free
  • Demonstrating how to steal credentials, compromise personal data, or cause harm
  • Showing how to access paid content, software, or services without authorization
  • Content attempting to deceive users into revealing personal information
  • Requests for cryptocurrency or wallet details as part of a scam
• Suicide and Self-harm Content
  • Instructions of suspected instructions for committing suicide, self-harm, or eating disorder
  • Praising, promoting or glorifying suicide or self-harm
  • Description of improper use of dangerous tools
  • Dangerous challenges that may result in injuries, death, or other high-risk consequences
  • Consumption of things that are not edible or drinkable

4. Nudity and Sexuality

Explicit content meant to be sexually gratifying is not allowed on PalUp.

You shall not share or create AI Assistants to generate contents involving:

• Description or behavior of, depicting, or inciting non-consensual sex
• Content of behaviors that engage in, promote, or glorify sexual seduction or sexual objectification
• Adult pornography or nudity
• Explicit descriptions of pornographic works, including pornographic works involving sexual organs and sexual behavior
• Malicious descriptions of sexual behavior or sexual organs
• Descriptions of sexual fetishes
• Promotion of pornographic website, software and links
• Content that is obscene, excessively vulgar, nudity-focused, or focuses on sensitive body parts

5. Child Abuse and Exploitation

You shall not share or create AI Assistants to generate contents involving:

• Physical or psychological abuse of minors, including through sexual violence, bullying, or insults
• Encouraging or extorting the propagation of pornography by children
• Sexual content involving minors, including sexual or pornographic language, or display of the private parts of minors
• Content of behaviors promoting the sexual exploitation of minors, including sexual behavior involving minors
• Use, possession, or suspicion of use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products by minors
• Depiction of minors engaging in any illegal activities
• Fights or bullying in any kind involving minors

6. Violent and Hateful Organizations and Individuals

You shall not share or create AI Assistants to generate contents involving:

• Content that includes the names, symbols, signs, flags, slogans, uniforms, gestures, portraits, or other items representing dangerous individuals and/or organizations
• Praising, glorifying, or supporting dangerous individuals and/or organizations
• Violent harm to personal safety, such as assaults or kidnapping
• Content or behaviors that may endanger the personal safety of others, such as sneak attacks
• Purchase, sale, or exchange of illegally obtained goods
• Instructions or suspicious for criminal activities
• Other crime-related content

7. Abusive Behavior and Harassment

You shall not share or create AI Assistants to generate contents involving:

• Threatening individuals with violence
• Content or behaviors that may cause death, serious illness, physical injury, or other harm to individuals
• Insulting individuals on the basis of personal attributes such as intelligence, physical appearance, personality or health status
• Inciting violence or harassment
• Celebrating violence and slandering victims
• Encouraging harassing behaviors such as spamming, organized efforts to discredit or embarrass users, or attacking others outside the platform
• Threatening others with personal injury or property damage

8. Hate Speech and Racial Discrimination

You shall not share or create AI Assistants to generate contents involving:

• Racial discrimination
• Inciting religious hatred
• Fascism or promoting fascism
• A statement or performance of rejection, isolation, or discrimination against an individual of certain kind
• An accusation that an individual of or a group of people of certain kind is biologically or morally inferior or is a criminal
• Degrading an individual of or a group of people of certain kinds to animals, inanimate objects, or other non-human entities
• Arguing that violence against an individual of or a group of people of certain kind is appropriate

Enforcement and Reporting

Enforcement 

Having clear guidelines provides the foundation for success. We recognize that every situation varies - if you encounter a situation that needs to be addressed, please contact PalUp with specific details about your experience, and we will carefully consider your situation and the parties involved. Proven violation of these guidelines will result in loss of access to our platform, ranging from content or AI Assistant removal, restrict AI Assistant’s traffic, restrict access to AI Assistants, restrict in-platform functionalities, restrict account access, and even full account termination. Reporting

We understand that situations may occur where you feel the need to report something that occurs on our platform or that violates these guidelines. While we hope these situations do not occur, our goal is to be prepared if they do and take appropriate action if they do. For more information on how to report an occurrence on our platform, please do the following:

1. In the app, open the profile, post or chat of the AI Assistant you’d like to report.
2. Select the overflow icon.
3. Select Report and then select the type of issue you’d like to report.
4. We may also ask you to select additional posts from the account you’re reporting so we have better context to evaluate your report.

Once received, our team will work diligently to ensure we take the proper steps to help mitigate these occurrences in the future.

Updates

We may update this Platform Guideline from time to time. PalUp reserves the right to interpret and modify these Platform Guidelines. These Platform Guidelines are effective from the date of publication.
